Associate Director, PM
About the role
This position will oversee internal and partnered programs to ensure consistency and drive cross-functional partnerships, supporting efficient drug development with high-quality deliverables. This is a 12-week contract role, potentially extendable, and reports to the Vice President of Portfolio, Program & Alliance Strategy. The role is based in Seattle, WA, with a possibility for remote work based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead cross-functional teams to drive programs through clinical trials.
- Partner with project teams and leadership to create development strategies, define goals, and track program progress.
- Establish program management infrastructure and process development.
- Drive operational excellence and enable efficient drug development through collaborative teams.
- Support governance decisions with effective meeting practices.
- Ensure clear program communications and systematic reporting for transparency.
- Partner with finance and business operations for corporate program planning.
- Support initiatives and special projects as needed.
Essential Skills
- Program management experience with IND and CMC.
- Experience in early development, oncology, and/or autoimmune conditions.
- Proficiency in Smartsheets.
- Experience in a matrix-style environment and cross-functional development.
- Strong project management skills, especially in startup clinical trials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in immunology, biology, or genetics preferred.
- 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in program management for Associate Director level.
- 12 years of experience with at least 7 years in program management for Director level.
- Experience in gene and cell therapy preferred.
- Strong leadership capabilities in a scientific setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and MS Teams.
Work Environment
The role offers a hybrid work environment, with onsite presence required in East Lake, Seattle, WA, at least two days a week. The setting is within brand-new facilities, fostering innovation and cutting-edge drug development. This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $100.00 - $120.00/hr.
