Associate Director, Payer Strategy- Parkinsons Disease
About the role
The Associate Director, US Market Access, Payer Strategy will lead the development, evolution, and deployment of the VYALEV Integrated Access Strategy to support business performance across the long-range plan. This individual is responsible for driving market access marketing and pricing strategy for VYALEV across all payer channels with a key focus on the Medicare channel.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of Medicare and Commercial strategy and impactful customer narrative, leveraging clinical and economic data as well as key stakeholder insights
- Develop payer positioning and pricing strategy for VYALEV across all payer channels
- Continuously evaluate evolving landscape of assigned channels to refine and adjust strategy; enhance Account Team education and training on key insights
- Effectively communicate and drive strategic alignment across multiple stakeholders and leadership teams such as the Market Access Leadership Team, Brand Team, Account Management teams, HEOR, MOSL, MPS, Medical, APEX, Finance, Contracting, Pricing, Forecasting, Sales, and Government Affairs/Advocacy teams
- Encourage and demonstrate an enterprise approach through best practice, curiosity, learning, and sharing
- Demonstrate a “One AbbVie” mindset and perspective in all strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in Marketing, US Market Access and/or Analytics
- Strong strategic thinking, business and financial acumen, analytical capabilities, and communications skills required
- Candidate must have high proficiency in Excel
- Experience with medical benefit preferred
- Advanced agility, project management and prioritization skills
- Cross-functional experiences including field sales, finance, and/or market analytics valued

This job is eligible to participate in our long-term incentive programs.
