Job Summary
The Associate Director of Marketing, Student Recruitment and Global Outreach supports Harris degree and non-degree programs by creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan. This role involves collaboration across marketing, recruitment, operations, and analytics teams, including working with the Harris Brand Marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Works collaboratively with team members in marketing, recruitment, operations, and analytics.
- Develops and executes multi-channel marketing communications and advertising campaigns.
- Conducts market research and analyzes data to inform strategies and trends.
- Manages external sales agency relationships and monitors vendor contracts.
- Develops and implements social media strategy to raise awareness and generate leads.
- Collaborates on recruitment events to enhance Harris School profile and drive enrollment.
- Supports marketing budget management and tracks project deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- At least 5-7 years of work experience in marketing or communications.
- Experience with programmatic and strategic event planning.
- Familiarity with higher education environments and knowledge of the University of Chicago.
- Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Excel, Slate, Salesforce, or similar tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of digital marketing trends and ability to leverage new channels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with programmatic and strategic event planning and execution.
- Multicultural environment and diverse client experience.
- Familiarity with higher education environment and knowledge of the University of Chicago.
- Writing or editing in a professional setting.
- Project management and working with external contractors or vendors.
