The Associate Director, Marketing drives the development and implementation of key HCP and Patient brand strategies and initiatives in the US. The Associate Director supports the development and execution of clear, concise, and actionable brand strategic and tactical plans to optimize the launch and commercial success of uniQure’s lead asset. The Associate Director is responsible for collaborating with multiple cross-functional groups, including but not limited to Medical Affairs, Advocacy, Sales, Regulatory, Market Insights, Patient Services, Training, and Legal. This role reports to the Senior Director, Marketing. Key Result Areas (major Duties, Accountabilities And Responsibilities) Develop, create, and implement unbranded education and branded promotional materials for HCP, community, and institutional stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to establish a branded and unbranded communication platform for our lead assetLead creation of educational resources across HCP and patient stakeholders to support launchBuild and optimize digital and CRM strategy to enable effective communications that will engage and support key HD stakeholdersInform strategic recommendations based on market and disease dynamicsIdentify market research needs, align on market research plans, and translate findings into adapted strategic and tactical executionWork and manage all vendors/agencies successfully and effectivelyPerform other related duties as needed Qualifications & Skills BA/BS degree in business, marketing or science required10 years of pharmaceutical / biotech experience with a minimum of 5+ years in U.S. pharmaceutical marketing (pre-launch or in-line) or relevant experienceExperience in brand marketing/product management is required; product launch experience in rare disease preferredStrong, team-oriented leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence, lead, negotiate and work effectively at all levels across the organization Experience in successfully representing the commercial perspective during the regulatory/legal review of launch promotional materialsStrong qualitative and quantitative analytical, communication and project management skills to effectively translate ideas and insights into actionable plansExcellent organizational skills, sufficient to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesEnthusiasm, confidence, ability to work on multiple tasks, problem solving ability, comfort in an ambiguous environment, and ability to prioritize effectively to meet organizational objectivesAbility to regularly commute into our Lexington location, as needed The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant, relevant years of experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from where they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
