Responsibilities

  • Aid students in site selection and review of practicum and internship applications.
  • Maintain oversight of student practicum performance and adherence to all requirements.
  • Track and analyze data related to practicum and internship placements.
  • Provide guidance on remediation plans for students facing challenges.
  • Create and maintain relationships with practicum site supervisors and monitor their performance.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of clinical training coursework.
  • Engage in department-level strategic planning initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral-level, licensed psychologist or equivalent certification with the potential to obtain licensure within two years.
  • Experience in supervision and training of graduate students.
  • Teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
