About the role
Forbes is seeking an Associate Director, Integrated Marketing to join our agile Integrated Marketing team to create cross-platform partner programs for best-in-class brands. This role will develop strategic and compelling cross-platform program ideas and proposals that leverage Forbes’ leading brand properties and franchises to engage influential audiences and drive tangible value for our brand partners. This crucial role supports our revenue team’s marketing strategies—from cross-platform ideation to storytelling to final proposals and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Lead as a strategic partner in the strategy and creative ideation for Integrated Marketing initiatives on Forbes—ideating cross-platform opportunities that come to life through editorial initiatives, powerful custom content, events, social, video, print, etc.
- Multi-task and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—sales, account management, content, design, events, and social—to own the pre-sale marketing process for partner proposals (RFPs and proactive opportunities).
- Create engaging presentations that clearly communicate program ideas for our most valued clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include brainstorms, setting strategy, creative concept ideation, gathering insights, crafting narratives, proposal/presentation deliverable creation, and presenting concepts as needed.
- Marry creative ideas that are timely and resonant with partner brands’ KPIs and business objectives to drive tangible value for their business and/or thought leadership, while communicating Forbes’ unique value as a leading media partner.
- Collaborate with other marketers and provide proposal support for larger-scale strategic proposals.
- Create proactive materials (category decks, sell sheets, general presentations) and ideas across categories that position our team as best-in-class ideators who are on the pulse of our top clients’ needs.
- Identify new and innovative partnership opportunities and unique storytelling formats that help brands reach our influential audiences where they are.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of marketing or brand strategy experience creating custom ideas and developing proposals.
- Strong PowerPoint skills and an appreciation for design to enhance ideas and deliverables.
- Exceptional communication skills—written and verbal.
- Proven experience as a skillful multi-tasker with the aptitude to navigate proposal work for clients representing diverse industries with multiple deadlines.
- Ability to influence as an empathetic team player who is eager to develop strong internal and external relationships to establish trust in your creative thinking.
- Strong business acumen with a natural ability to anticipate needs, innovate, and excel in a fast-paced sales environment that requires a solution-oriented approach with attention to detail.
- Executive presence and comfortability working closely with and presenting to clients and/or agency partners.
- Previous experience ideating cross-platform pitches that extend to custom content, digital, social, video, and events strongly preferred.
- An entrepreneurial spirit in line with the Forbes brand.
- Proposal samples that showcase your ‘best of’ proposals highlighting the strength of your writing and design.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $125,000.

Some positions may require candidates to be based in a specific location for consideration, while some roles may be fully remote (within the U.S.) if it aligns with the needs of the position.
