Associate Director, Government Pricing

This role is a key member of Regeneron’s government pricing team, responsible for supporting the accurate calculation and timely submission of all required government price reporting. The position ensures compliance with pricing and reporting requirements from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Department of Veterans Affairs, and applicable state legislation, including staying current with pending legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate, validate, and report accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual government pricing.
  • Submit and monitor State Price Transparency regulations.
  • Maintain a complete understanding of calculation reasonable assumptions and methodologies; research and communicate causes of variances between current and prior periods.
  • Perform processes to ensure compliant submissions, including G/L reconciliations, Class of Trade (COT) review, and PHS/340B eligibility review.
  • Review calculations with Senior Management, obtain approval signoff, and execute required Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) before communicating prices to government agencies (CMS, VA/DOD) or internally.
  • Maintain and update SOPs and reasonable assumptions quarterly for Government Programs/Pricing.
  • Monitor policies, procedures, and processes to ensure ongoing compliance with external and internal requirements.
  • Understand and estimate the impact of pricing and policy changes on government pricing.
  • Perform pricing research and analysis on special projects as assigned.
  • Review and interpret commercial contract language pertaining to Best Price (BP), Average Sales Price (ASP), and FSS Tracking Customers.
  • Investigate government pricing trends and cross-channel impact; provide government price inputs to the Gross to Net (GTN) team.
  • Monitor Tracking customer violations, Bona Fide Service Fee treatments, and Customer COT assignment.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert representing Government Pricing and Contract Operations.
  • Serve as a liaison with Commercial Leadership, Pricing, Trade, Brand, and Accounting/Finance teams on issues impacting government pricing.
  • Apply Fair Market Value methodology to determine bona fide service fees paid to Wholesalers, Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7+ years of prior experience in Government Pricing or a related field such as finance, accounting, Medicare/Medicaid.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • 10+ years of professional experience.

Schedule

Remote with some travel as needed.

Pay

Salary Range (annually): $157,200.00 - $256,600.00 (for jobs in Canada).
