Agios Pharmaceuticals is searching for a dynamic Associate Director, Field Marketer to join our growing Marketing team. We want someone who cares about this important work, and who's driven to connect to our mission of helping these patient communities.
What You Will Do
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with KOLs in our industry
- Gather insights from KOLs about market and product to inform marketing strategy and tactics
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners on KOL approach and engagement
- Serve as the liaison between marketing initiatives and KOLs
- Support identification of and serve as the liaison with KOLs for approved commercial efforts (Ad boards, Speakers Bureau, Ad Hoc consulting, etc.)
- Participate (and set up executive encounters as required) in US and Global Congress activities
- Provide regular updates to management and cross-functional teammates of KOL management progress and insights
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of field sales, field marketing or Thought Leader Liaison experience, with field marketing/Thought Leader Liaison experience preferred
- Rare Disease experience required. Hematology/Oncology experience preferred
- Documented track record of delivering consistent, exceptional levels of performance and leadership
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, self-starter, with experience effectively partnering with HCPs
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large geography
- Demonstrated strong strategic thinking and an ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a wide range of people and functions
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to establish a rapport quickly with others
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Hematology experience strongly preferred, including history of building relationships with physicians referring, diagnosing and/or treating in this therapeutic area
- Able to travel 50-70% of time
