Director, Field Marketing
About the role
The Field Marketing Director (FMD) leads the local field marketing team in Southeastern Business Unit (SEBU) to create and execute the marketing plan, collaborate with both Marketing and Sales Departments, and align with BU leaders, wholesalers, and customers.
Responsibilities
Annual Planning: Develop the annual marketing plan within the Business Unit, leveraging data and market insights to inform strategic choices.
Execution and Communication: Execute the marketing plan, manage budgets, and communicate progress to BU leadership and sales teams.
Sponsorship Management: Source, vet, and manage sponsorship opportunities, ensuring they align with business unit objectives and ROI.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of internal and external marketers, drive proficiency, and ensure successful completion of team goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
10+ years of marketing experience
Experience managing people in direct and indirect reporting relationships
Experience working with and managing agencies
Understanding of social networking/media technologies and their application to marketing
Skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Proficiency in MS Office tools
Ability to make critical decisions and problem solve

Pay
$147,500.00 - $240,700.00
Schedule
Full-time position with 40% travel required.
