Director, Field Marketing
About the role
The Field Marketing Director (FMD) leads the local marketing efforts within the Southeastern Business Unit (SEBU), collaborating with both Marketing and Sales Departments to align with broader business objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the annual marketing plan, incorporating data-driven insights and strategic choices.
Leverage internal and external resources to manage and track local marketing programs, ensuring alignment with business unit goals.
Manage the budget and financial plan, coordinating with the finance team for accurate forecasting and utilization.
Communicate marketing initiatives to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment.
Oversee sponsorship management, including sourcing, vetting, and executing partnerships that support business objectives.
Lead a team of marketers, driving proficiency and achieving team goals, and provide feedback to central marketing teams.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, with 10+ years of marketing experience.
Cross-functional marketing experience in areas such as brand, retail, channel, trade marketing, experiential marketing, and partnerships.
Experience managing people in direct and indirect reporting relationships.
Proven experience working with and managing agencies, including writing creative briefs and providing feedback.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to make critical decisions and problem-solve effectively.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a tech-proficient approach to digital tools and social media applications.
