The Role
The Associate Director/Director, Patient Marketing will focus on developing and executing the patient strategy in preparation for the future launch of mitapivat, currently in development for sickle cell disease, a vastly underserved community.
What You Will Do
- Support and oversee the execution of patient and caregiver tactics, ensuring high-quality delivery against objectives.
- Monitor and assess performance metrics, identifying insights and opportunities to optimize strategy and messaging over time.
- Partner with Digital Marketing to help build and execute an integrated omnichannel approach, including media mix, measurement, optimization, and analytics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HCP Marketing, Digital Marketing, Patient Advocacy, US Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, Market Access, and Field Teams, to support alignment and successful execution.
- Manage key agency relationships, contributing to clear scope, and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and corporate requirements both individually and for the sickle cell patient team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years’ experience in pharma marketing experience, with 3 years DTC/consumer pharma marketing experience
- Previous product launch experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and critical-thinking skills.
- Skills: Demonstrated ability to think creatively, with experience contributing to innovative projects and a willingness to thoughtfully explore novel approaches; Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality work on-time and within budget; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Thorough understanding of regulatory, legal and compliance requirements; Ability to work independently on most assignments, seeking guidance on more complex or novel tasks; Flexibility to travel (up to 20% travel anticipated)
