Associate Director Development

About the role

The Associate Director of Development is a key member of the fundraising team at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center Foundation. This position is responsible for planning and executing organizational events, securing event revenue, and managing a portfolio of grants and external foundations to support the hospital's fundraising priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute fundraising events to generate revenue for the hospital
• Secure funding from external foundations and grants
• Manage a portfolio of grants and external foundations
• Develop and maintain relationships with faculty and volunteers
• Communicate effectively with donors and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Four to six years of experience in fundraising or related field
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• Strong written and analytical skills
• Capable of developing productive working relationships with faculty and volunteers

Pay

Salary range: Minimum 31.53/hour - Maximum 52.06/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
