Position Summary

The Associate Director, Corporate Partnerships plays a critical role in advancing the organization's corporate partnerships strategy. Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate & Foundation Relations, this role is responsible for building, managing, and growing a high-impact portfolio of corporate and foundation partners in support of the organization's mission.

Essential Responsibilities / Duties

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for a portfolio of corporate and foundation partnerships
  • Maintain personal responsibility for a select portfolio of high-priority partners while ensuring team portfolios meet performance targets
  • Lead the identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of complex prospects
  • Drive retention and growth of existing partners, including upgrading six- and seven-figure relationships
  • Oversee the full partnership lifecycle from proposal development through fulfillment and stewardship
  • Provide direction and quality assurance for proposals, reports, and engagement materials
  • Develop a deep understanding of organizational priorities to guide partnership strategy
  • Serve as a key partner to internal stakeholders to align funding needs with donor interests
  • Collaborate with prospect development to expand and diversify the donor pipeline
  • Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Raiser’s Edge NXT or equivalent) to track performance and maintain records
  • Establish and refine portfolio metrics to assess and improve performance
  • Participate in annual fundraising and business planning
  • Manage, mentor, and develop staff
  • Partner across teams to develop integrated fundraising strategies
  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership

Ob Requirements

  • Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree, 7+ years of progressive experience in development, corporate partnerships, or sales OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Preferred Experience: Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing staff, proven ability to drive revenue goals and team performance

  • Ability to build and manage relationships with high-capacity donors and stakeholders
  • Proven success in fundraising, corporate partnerships, or related areas
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex priorities and solve problems effectively
  • Experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams
  • Strategic planning skills that align donor interests with organizational priorities
  • Ability to engage and support volunteer leaders in fundraising efforts
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
