Associate Director

Responsibilities

• Ensure all students are educated according to their IEPs.
• Observe classrooms regularly, both formally and informally.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings to share information, suggestions, and concerns.
• Attend and participate in Regional activities, including a weekly Director’s Meeting.
• Attend and participate in a monthly Goal Review with Supervisor, demonstrating consistent growth and goal completion.
• Report facility issues to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
• Communicate with parents in person, by phone, and through newsletters and other forms of written communication.
• Involvement in regular parent education events throughout the school year.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing policies regarding the health, safety, and well-being of students.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships with district officials, parents, and other personnel.
• Provide excellent and responsive customer service.

Qualifications

• Credentials in Education or a similar field.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Extensive experience working with students with serious emotional disabilities preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.
• Willingness to undergo a background check as per local law/regulations.
