Associate Director

Responsibilities

• Ensure all students are educated according to their IEPs.
• Observe classrooms regularly, both formally and informally.
• Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings.
• Participate in monthly Goal Reviews with the supervisor.
• Report facility issues to the appropriate department.
• Communicate with parents through various methods.
• Involvement in regular parent education events.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing policies.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Credentials in Education or similar field.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Extensive experience with students with serious emotional disabilities preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to run short distances and move swiftly.
• Ability to lift and assist students with mobility challenges.
• Skill in managing fine motor tasks.
• Ability to operate a computer or tablet for up to 8 hours daily.
• Capacity to notice and respond to non-verbal cues.
• Ability to remain calm and composed during demanding situations.
