Associate Designer - Electrical

About the role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic, value‑added solutions across the entire asset life cycle, including licensed process technologies, advisory services, deep technical expertise, energy transition solutions, high‑end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize assets. KBR is seeking an Associate Electrical Designer to provide design assistance, evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques, and support project work on chemical and/or pulp and paper projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide design assistance necessary to evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for directed project work.
• Assist in the design of larger and more complex assignments that involve conventional plans, investigations, and surveys.
• Responsible for electrical design on chemical and/or pulp and paper projects.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of electrical design experience.
• Familiarity with decarbonization, energy transition, and sustainability concepts.
