Responsibilities

  • Update current drawings per markups based on engineering direction
  • Re-master CAD drawings to current format
  • Create 3D and 2D layouts of parts and small assemblies using computer-aided drafting systems
  • Self-check work for accuracy, organization, dimensions, tolerances, and conformance with CAD specifications
  • Create and prepare Change Notice (CN) documents based on Bill of Materials (BOM) and design layouts
  • Utilize ERP systems to create part numbers following proper naming processes and data entry requirements
  • Create and review Bill of Materials (BOM) following engineering procedures
  • Provide technical assistance for prototypes, pilots, and production support

Requirements

  • Associate degree in drafting/design with 4 years of relevant experience
  • No degree and 8 years of experience in drafting/design
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Able to use standard Windows Office tools including SharePoint, email, and CAD tools
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

  • Associate degree or equivalent with 5 years of experience in drafting/design

Working Conditions

This role combines office-based administrative duties with physical activity in field or production environments. In the office, tasks may involve extended computer use, sitting, attending meetings, and extended periods of concentration. Field or floor work may involve walking across various terrains or shop floors, standing, moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), climbing stairs, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels. Must be able to shift focus between detailed cognitive work and occasional physical tasks as needed.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $57,600.00 - $90,400.00. Individual pay is determined by various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education, and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
