Associate Electric Engineer - Design
Position Purpose
Perform analysis, planning and design functions requiring the application of standard engineering techniques, principals and criteria to the development, implementation and modification of the Company’s power delivery systems while insuring that operation is optimized with respect to safety, reliability, economy and efficiency.
Principal Accountabilities
70% Design, specify and implement electric power system additions and modifications utilizing appropriate engineering techniques, principles and criteria, and best industry practices.
15% Maintain documentation; Process data requests; Provide technical assistance and training; Provide the highest level of service to internal and external customers, stakeholders, etc.
15% Expand understanding of power delivery system theory, industry standards and utility practices. Develop proficiency with Engineering tools, applications and processes, and other technical and business systems and procedures in areas of assignment.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
0 - 2 Years Experience
Strong analytical ability and computer skills.
