Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other engineering software.
- Apply engineering principles, standard procedures, and industry codes to complete design assignments.
- Interpret customer specifications and translate requirements into practical, manufacturable designs.
- Provide engineering support to drafting, sales, quoting, and project teams.
- Communicate technical information to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Aid in engineering-related pricing and quotation activities.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure designs can be produced efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes and team effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or other related engineering field with 0-2 years of experience.
- Technical competence in structural engineering.
- Strengths in interpersonal skills, including the ability to adapt and professionally communicate with a variety of people.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to solve complex problems with high attention to detail and work in a fast-paced environment subject to specific deadlines.
Additional Details
- Reports to the Site Engineering Supervisor/Manager.
- Receives guidance and design review from senior engineers during training and development.
- Supports drafters, project administrators, and other internal teams in reviewing and interpreting designs.
- Has limited direct customer interaction through phone, email, and occasional site visits.
- Collaborates with team members to meet project milestones and optimize workflow.

Qualifications
- Engineer-in-Training Certificate.
