Associate Corporate Counsel, AWS Legal

About the role

Amazon's Legal Department is seeking an attorney to support the AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services legal team. This role will involve supporting complex cloud technology transactions, providing legal advice, and managing legal issues in existing relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support complex cloud technology transactions
• Provide ongoing legal counsel and contract interpretation guidance
• Manage legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships
• Advising on risk related to new business initiatives
• Advising on pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries

Requirements

• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
• 2+ years of post-bar admission legal experience
• Experience with in-house work at a technology or internet company
• Knowledge of and experience with cloud infrastructure technologies
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts

Pay

$131,500.00 - $178,000.00 USD annually
