Associate Commercial Territory Manager

About the role
The Associate Commercial Territory Manager will meet and exceed quarterly sales quota by developing new opportunities within a specific geographical territory. Responsibilities include researching and identifying potential accounts, outbound cold calling, building rapport, delivering technical information, conducting Webex presentations, preparing accurate quotes, and providing monthly/quarterly forecasts. The role also involves closing new business, forecasting sales activity, and managing annual revenue responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Present quarterly territory reviews and plans for the next quarter
- Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities
- Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests
- Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends
- Manage territory, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Use internal resources efficiently
Requirements
- Past revenue responsibility and proven track record of success
- Exhibited sales skills and a track record of success
- Prospecting and closing skills
- Territory management experience
- Accurate forecasting abilities
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of systems like SalesForce, NetSuite, and Microsoft Products
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- 2 years of technology sales experience
- Previous experience selling services in support of technology or software products (highly desirable)
- ClientBase Management, Technical Understanding, Building Relationships, People Skills
- CRM, Customer Focus, Professionalism, Motivation for Sales
Pay
US Pay Range: $23.56—$31.25 USD per hour. Compensation for the role will depend on qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles).
