Associate, Collateral and Margin Management

About the role
- Manage the issuance and booking of daily margin calls for bilateral derivatives
- Facilitate margin call disputes, reconciliations, and resolution
- Reconcile non-cleared derivatives trading according to Dodd-Frank and EMIR regulatory requirements, ensuring portfolio completeness and managing threshold breaches
- Review and track daily portfolio differences related to MTM and SIMM exposures
- Escalate discrepancies to relevant internal or external parties
- Assist in ad-hoc requests for management and investigations of operational issues
- Monitor process gaps and recommend technological changes
- Participate in projects and planning related to industry initiatives and operational efficiencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Banking & Financial Services, preferably in Collateral Management, Liquidity Management, or other Derivatives Operations roles
- Understanding of derivative trade structure and trade flow management, specifically its impact on daily valuations
- Knowledge of Credit Support Annex agreements, ISDA conventions, and regulations affecting the industry (CFTC and EMIR)
- Experience working with TriResolve, Acadiasoft, or IMEM
- Working knowledge of collateral management, margin call processing, and regulatory requirements for non-cleared margining rules (initial and variation margin)
- Knowledge of collateral optimization

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this role is $78,000 to $125,000. The specific salary offered will be based on individual qualifications, experience, and market analysis for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award.
