Associate Coach, Girls Water Polo - Athletics

Position Details

Work Year: 3 Months
School Year: 2026-2027, Spring Season
Work Hours: Monday - Friday late afternoons, and weekends
Stipend Range*: $2,900 - $5,660
Compensation is commensurate with qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  
• Two (2) years of experience including demonstrated leadership in a successful interscholastic program as a coach, or other significant leadership experience in building and maintaining a successful large school program, or other professional athletic-related experience.
  
• National Federation of High School (NFHS) certifications needed before the first day of employment: Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussions in Sports, Heat Illness Prevention, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
  
• Background in teaching preferred, with experience working with adolescents.
  
• Experience managing staff preferred.
  
• Knowledge of the value of athletics and competition at the intermediate and high school level.
  
• Substantial knowledge of the game as demonstrated through the development of comprehensive practice plans, offensive and defensive schemes, implementation of off-season expectations for student athletes, and the implementation of effective and contemporary teaching/coaching practices.
