About the role
The Catering Associate is an entry-level position that supports seamless food and beverage service for meetings, events, and daily catering needs. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong customer-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Set up and arrange catering functions according to event orders and service standards.
- Break down and clean event spaces and return equipment and supplies to proper storage.
- Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, garnishing, and cleanliness.
- Deliver and pick up catering orders across designated locations.
- Replenish food and beverages promptly during events.
- Provide professional, attentive service to guests and clients.
- Ensure orders are complete, accurate, and on time.
- Communicate effectively with the catering team, kitchen staff, event contacts, and management.
- Follow all sanitation and food safety procedures.
- Keep catering areas, equipment, and vehicles clean and organized.
- Drive company vehicles carefully and responsibly.
As a Catering Associate, you are expected to:

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
- Foodservice experience preferred.
- Basic computer literacy.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Industry Sanitation Certification (ANSI, FDA, or ServSafe) required.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, walk up to one mile, and stand for up to 4 hours consecutively.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
