CATERING ASSOCIATE (FT DAYS, 6:30 AM - 3 PM)

Responsibilities

• Cooking and serving meals to patients in assigned units.
• Coordinating patient menu selections and managing tray assembly and delivery.
• Addressing and communicating patient food issues and requests to Food & Nutrition Services.
• Collaborating with nursing staff to ensure compliance with patients' nutritional needs and unit food service requirements.
• Maintaining accurate patient meal information on assigned units.
• Ensuring patient satisfaction through internal and external surveys.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of infection control and sanitation practices.
• Providing quality service considering cultural, ethnic, and religious food preferences.

Requirements

• Knowledge of dietary restrictions, infection control, and sanitation best practices.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to pass a written test on modified diets provided by clinical staff.
