Associate Business Development Representative
About the role
The Associate Business Development Representative (BDR) at Precisely Software Incorporated is responsible for identifying and engaging new prospects to understand their needs and how Precisely can address them. This role involves both outbound and inbound business development activities, working closely with Account Executives to create qualified opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound strategic business development to find new potential customers and set up initial meetings for the sales team.
- Create qualified opportunities for the sales team by working closely with Account Executives.
- Conduct strategic business development as part of follow-up with customers and prospects who have responded to marketing activities.
- Work with Product Marketing, Pre-Sales, and Sales teams to become knowledgeable in Precisely’s products and services.
- Maintain daily activities in Salesforce and Outreach, tracking interactions with prospects.
- Engage in recurring 1:1 sessions with your BDR Manager and participate in Weekly Team discussions with BDR peers.
- Interact regularly with all areas of the cross-functional business to support company-wide initiatives and drive suggestions for change or improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or associate Degree, or equivalent level of education.
- Process Driven, Goal-oriented, highly confident, self-motivated.
- Organizational Skills, Communication Skills, Active Listening, Collaboration and Teamwork, Adaptability and Coachability.
- Prior business development experience.
- Ai Fluent, Motivated to build quality pipeline, Looking to make a meaningful impact on the business, Prospecting Skills, Strong telephone (cold calling) & outbound emailing, Technology Driven (Tools).
Qualifications
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, Tableau, Outreach, ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Time Management.
