Associate Brand Manager

About the role

We're looking for a Marketing professional to join our dynamic team at Talking Rain Beverage Company. This role involves designing and implementing marketing strategies to commercialize innovative products.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute sales, retailer and consumer support programs.
  • Analyze, track and summarize key learnings based on syndicated, POS, quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Translate key brand metrics, analytics, programs and media plans into retailer-ready sales materials.
  • Recommend and champion brand plans that improve margins and add EBITDA.
  • Collaborate with Insights team to identify product offering gaps and valuable consumer insights.
  • Support the development of packaging and product development briefs and lead the from innovation through commercialization.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in brand / marketing / product management, ideally with a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading project and program efforts to completion.
  • Strong analytical/reporting skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience with end-to-end product development and commercialization processes.
  • Experience with Syndicated Data (IRI preferred).
  • Familiarity with traditional trade channels: food, mass, club, and convenience, and E-Commerce.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A willingness to navigate change and ambiguity.
  • A passion for the consumer.
  • A creative mindset, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with using data throughout aspects of the role, turning consumer and social insights into strategic thinking, and building viable financial models.
  • Able to balance art & science – ability to think creatively & strategically, with a strong business mindset.
  • Ability to travel 1-3 times per quarter, based on business need.

Pay

$75,000 - $103,000 (depending on experience)

Schedule

Hybrid at our Preston, WA office at least 3 days onsite per week. While we strive to offer flexibility, this role also requires it. There may be times when you're expected to come onsite outside your typical in-office days to support special projects, team events, or other business needs.
