At Merit Coffee, our mission is to create a bright spot in our customers’ day. As we continue to grow across Texas, we are seeking a Brand Manager to help lead marketing initiatives, support brand growth, and drive customer engagement across our cafés, e-commerce channels, and loyalty platforms.

Position Overview

The Brand Manager will help develop and execute marketing programs that strengthen the Merit Coffee brand, drive customer engagement, and business growth. This role bridges both strategic marketing and operational execution. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building marketing plans, analyzing business performance, managing projects, and working directly within marketing platforms and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of annual marketing plans, promotional calendars, and growth initiatives.
  • Aid in identifying customer insights, market trends, and competitive opportunities.
  • Support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and customer loyalty acquisition programs.
  • Participate in strategic planning and long-term brand development efforts.
  • Manage relationships with external agency partners, ensuring work is aligned with brand objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Create oversight for creative design across digital, print, in-store, and social media management.

Required Qualifications

  • Current or recent experience as an Assistant Brand Manager, Brand Manager, Marketing Manager, or similar marketing leadership role.
  • Experience planning and executing marketing campaigns from concept through implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new software platforms and technologies quickly.
  • Shopify experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to executional excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced experience with Shopify administration and e-commerce operations.
  • Experience with loyalty and customer engagement platforms.
  • Experience with email and SMS marketing systems.
  • (ex. Attentive, Klavio, Mailchimp, etc.)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Specifically, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Experience analyzing marketing performance and customer data.
  • Experience supporting multi-location businesses.
