About the role
The Associate Brand Manager will help lead and manage key aspects of the Stonyfield Organic yogurt portfolio, supporting the development and execution of brand strategies that enhance market presence and deepen consumer engagement. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office at our Bedford, NH location.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and executing brand plans through market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights to guide strategic direction.
- Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, including sales data and market trends, to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and in-store channels, ensuring alignment with brand values and messaging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development initiatives, focusing on key growth areas within the yogurt category, product and packaging design, P/L execution, and marketing strategies.
- Manage implementation of packaging design and graphics updates, including obsolescence tracking and timeline management.
- Manage promotional and marketing programs that build relationships with consumers through social media, events, partnerships, and promotions.
- Oversee marketing budgets, track expenditures, and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA a plus.
- 1-3 years of brand/product marketing experience, preferably in consumer-packaged goods.
- Consumer-centric thinker with a passion for marketing and brand building.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence leadership and external partners.
- General manager mindset, with natural curiosity and ability to operate with ambiguity.
- Desire to work in a small, entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of syndicated database analysis programs (IRI, Nielsen, etc.) a plus.
