Key Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of litigation in first-party property defense cases from inception to resolution.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Take and defend depositions, attend mediations, and represent clients in court hearings.
- Develop and execute effective case strategies in collaboration with partners and clients.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and strategic counsel.
- Stay current on industry trends, case law, and legislative developments impacting first-party property litigation.
Requirements
- Must be licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- 2+ years of experience in first-party property litigation or insurance defense.
- Strong research, writing, and litigation skills with attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients.
