Associate Attorney - Commercial Litigation

About the Role

O'Hagan Meyer is seeking an Associate Attorney with at least 3+ years of litigation experience to join its San Francisco, CA office. This is an excellent opportunity for associates to provide legal service within a sophisticated practice and who are seeking to assume a significant role in all aspects of the complex litigation process.

Responsibilities

• Legal research
• Drafting of pleadings, motions, and other documents
• Taking and defending depositions
• Drafting and answering discovery requests
• Trial preparation and trial assistance
• Communicate with both clients and colleagues in an effective manner
• Local travel for court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, site inspections, and depositions

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in civil litigation
• Experience with any of the following matters: general liability, professional liability, products liability, employment, construction litigation, real estate, HOA, mass torts and/or class actions
• Admission to the state bar of California is required
• Experience with both state and federal courts preferred

Pay

$150,000 to $210,000
