Associate Attorney – Commercial Finance (Nashville)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with commercial lending transactions, including asset-based and cash flow financing arrangements
  • Support real estate-backed financing transactions and other secured lending structures
  • Draft and review key financing documentation including loan agreements, security agreements, and related collateral documents
  • Participate in the negotiation and closing of financing transactions involving lenders and borrowers
  • Conduct and coordinate transactional due diligence and closing deliverables
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys and clients to ensure efficient deal execution

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 2–3 years of experience in commercial finance, banking, or secured lending within a sophisticated law firm environment
  • JD required and prior experience working in a law firm
  • Experience assisting with loan documentation, negotiation, and transaction management
  • Familiarity with asset-based lending, real estate finance, or cash flow loans
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent drafting skills
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively within collaborative deal teams
  • Active Tennessee Bar membership or eligibility to become licensed in Tennessee
