Key Responsibilities
- Assist with commercial lending transactions, including asset-based and cash flow financing arrangements
- Support real estate-backed financing transactions and other secured lending structures
- Draft and review key financing documentation including loan agreements, security agreements, and related collateral documents
- Participate in the negotiation and closing of financing transactions involving lenders and borrowers
- Conduct and coordinate transactional due diligence and closing deliverables
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and clients to ensure efficient deal execution
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2–3 years of experience in commercial finance, banking, or secured lending within a sophisticated law firm environment
- JD required and prior experience working in a law firm
- Experience assisting with loan documentation, negotiation, and transaction management
- Familiarity with asset-based lending, real estate finance, or cash flow loans
- Strong academic credentials and excellent drafting skills
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively within collaborative deal teams
- Active Tennessee Bar membership or eligibility to become licensed in Tennessee
