Key Responsibilities
- Assist with commercial lending and secured finance transactions involving institutional lenders and corporate borrowers
- Conduct and manage due diligence for lending transactions, including corporate and collateral review
- Draft and negotiate key financing documents including loan agreements, security agreements, and related collateral documentation
- Support transactions involving real estate-backed loans, asset-based facilities, securities-backed loans, and other secured financing structures
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure efficient deal execution
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial finance, banking, or secured lending transactions within a sophisticated law firm environment
- JD required and prior experience working in a law firm
- Experience with loan documentation, due diligence, and transaction management for lending matters
- Familiarity with secured lending structures involving real estate, securities, or asset-based collateral
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Excellent academic credentials and attention to detail
- Texas Bar membership preferred, or willingness to obtain admission
