Associate Account Executive, Healthcare/GPO
About the role
The Associate Account Executive will drive the commercial expansion and strategic growth of Metropolis's Healthcare & Institutional vertical. This role involves owning the commercial sales lifecycle, managing complex RFP processes, and closing deals.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end RFP lifecycle, managing multi-threaded institutional bidding processes from initial discovery to final proposal delivery
- Develop and execute vertical growth strategies to source, qualify, and engage high-value institutional and healthcare opportunities
- Navigate and manage the full sales lifecycle for designated accounts, working within structured procurement environments
- Conduct complex discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and formal presentations tailored to hospital administrators, facilities leaders, procurement teams, and executive healthcare stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with Company leadership to partner on strategic health system accounts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and legal to design, analyze, and approve custom healthcare-specific narratives, financial underwriting models, and compliance considerations
- Maintain strategic oversight of vertical sales metrics within Salesforce to optimize pipeline development and accurately forecast revenue
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant B2B sales, strategic account management, or consultative experience selling into healthcare systems, hospital networks, or large institutional environments
- Proven track record of independently navigating, negotiating, and closing commercial business agreements
- Strong expertise in building executive-level professional networks and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder institutional buying journeys
- Experience building customized client presentations and product demonstrations, tailoring value propositions to diverse audiences
- Experience evaluating sales metrics, managing pipeline health, and contributing to financial deal underwriting and creative P&L structuring
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and business maturity to manage competing commercial priorities
- Proficiency with advanced CRM architecture, specifically Salesforce, and modern sales enablement tools
- Experience leveraging AI tools to transform static workflows into responsive, high-output processes

Benefits
Metropolis offers a competitive base salary range of $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 USD annually, with additional benefits including access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, and more.
Pay
The anticipated base salary for this position is $75,000.00 USD to $95,000.00 USD annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including the applicant's qualifications, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment.
Schedule
Metropolis may require occasional travel to support face-to-face field prospecting, site assessments, and client negotiations across the vertical footprint.
