About the role
Build and support models and processes used in the management of multi-asset portfolios. Contribute to research projects that span portfolio design, construction, and management. Revise and create Python computer programs which support the investment process. Take on primary responsibility for specific aspects of the team’s process. Work with groups across Nuveen to ensure success of TDMA platform. Communicate team research and processes to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build and support models and processes for portfolio construction, risk analysis, and manager analysis.
- Contribute to research projects in portfolio design, construction, and management.
- Develop and maintain Python programs supporting the investment process.
- Assume primary responsibility for specific aspects of the team’s workflow.
- Collaborate with internal groups to advance the TDMA platform.
- Communicate research and processes to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years’ experience supporting multi-asset portfolios.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, computer science, or related field with proven academic success.
- Quantitative focus preferred.
- Experience in multi-asset research or investments.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and initiation abilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong analytical skills, and exemplary attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Python programming preferred.
Qualifications

Pay
Base Pay Range: $138,800/yr - $205,000/yr. Actual base salary may vary based on relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
