Assoc Developer - Mainframe

About the role

This position is responsible for developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining existing and new applications. You will work with one or more programming languages and development methodologies/delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, test, and maintain applications
• Apply knowledge of application/product feature design and integration technologies (Tibco/Informatica/CAS)
• Work within service-oriented architecture (SOA) and application configuration
• Perform rapid prototyping and follow SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Iterative Development)
• Manage system performance, change/configuration, and business requirements
• Solve problems analytically and think creatively
• Execute tasks efficiently and manage multiple priorities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree and 2 years of Information Technology experience or 4 years of Information Technology experience
• Ability to sit and perform computer entry for an entire work shift
• Ability to manage workload, multiple priorities, and conflicts with customers/employees/managers
• Knowledge of traditional application languages (COBOL)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (BASH/PERL/PYTHON/RUBY)
• Travel availability up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Experience with COBOL, DB2, and JCL

Pay

$55,900.00 - $123,500.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
