Assisted Living Supervisor

About the role

The position provides hands‑on leadership in an assisted living environment, supporting daily operations and delivering high‑quality resident care. The leader guides staff to deliver compassionate, consistent care while promoting safety, infection control, and risk management practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members and provide direct resident care.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing, ensuring appropriate coverage.
• Review timekeeping for payroll accuracy.
• Monitor resident health and develop Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
• Collaborate with Activities and Dining teams to promote resident engagement.
• Participate in crossover meetings to facilitate effective communication.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards.
• Promote safety, infection control, and risk management practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in assisted living, long‑term care, or healthcare.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Sound judgment and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and care systems).
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
