Assisted Living Floor Nurse LPN RN

About the role

Era Living is seeking part-time Assisted Living Nurses (LPN/RN) to join the care team at Ida Culver House Broadview, a retirement community in North Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the assessment of residents
• Implement health care services
• Collaborate with the Community Health Director and care team
• Provide health promotion and monitoring of residents

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to health and wellness of older adults
• Demonstrated knowledge of good assessment skills
• Effective organizational, time management skills
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to provide resident and family education
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
• Ability to teach and guide team members to provide quality clinical care
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to use a computer, with Word, spreadsheet, email, and internet
• Ability to foster a positive environment and represent Era Living in a competent, professional manner
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Knowledge of state regulations

Qualifications

• Graduate of School of Nursing as an LPN or RN
• Must be able to complete Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving
• Two years’ experience working with older adults
• Able to provide skilled nursing tasks to older adults
• Must complete Caregiver Mental Health and Dementia specialty training
• Current CPR certificate
• Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire

$42.00 - $52.00 per hour

Available shifts will be scheduled Friday-Saturday, 9:00AM to 5:30PM
