LPN Floor Nurse
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid/Active LPN license in NJ
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care
- Knowledge of clinical procedures, medications, and resident care standards
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations as prescribed and in accordance with nursing standards
- Monitor and assess residents’ health status, documenting changes and communicating concerns to the charge nurse or physician
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Respond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and changes in condition
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and compliance protocols
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives
Position Summary
