About the role
The position involves strategic planning, daily operations, staffing, budgeting, quality improvement, resident satisfaction, financial management, and regulatory compliance of an assisted living facility. The role also includes oversight of the survey process and results, resident care coordination, and quality data management.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains programs for the enrichment, safety, and health of assisted living residents.
- Accountable for the survey process and results.
- Oversees daily operations for compliance with regulatory and organizational expectations.
- Oversees resident care provided on site as well as assist with coordination of health care services in the greater community.
- Completes UAI's, ISP's, and other resident related documentation.
- Manages quality data for continuous quality improvement projects.
- Maintains compliance with applicable regulatory statutes, standards of care, job performance and competency standards.
- Facilitates department meetings to ensure employees are informed on facility & regulatory expectations and goals.
- Meets with residents and/or responsible party in one on one meetings or group meetings/councils.
- Coordinates the activities of Assisted Living with other departments in the development of resident care programs, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- Recent administrative or supervisory experience (Preferred)
- Experience: 1 year
- Licenses and Certifications:
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire (Required)
- Assisted Living Facility Administrator - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire (Required)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire (Required)
Skills And Abilities
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of commensurate experience
Pay
Hiring range: $68,000.00 - $93,500.00/Annual. Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
