Assisted Living Caregiver/CNA

About the role

Touchmark on South Hill is looking for Caregivers and Med Techs to join our team. As a Caregiver or Med Tech with Touchmark, you will assist residents with activities of daily living as needed — activities such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, mobility and toileting. You will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, mobility and toileting
• Provide compassionate care and positive presence to residents and their family members
• Work occasional weekend and/or holiday shifts

Requirements

• Must be a licensed NAC or HCA
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed a state certified NAC or HCA course
• Current Washington State NAC or HCA certification
• CPR/BLS Certified
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to work in a drug-free workplace
• Experience working with older adults in a health care setting; geriatric mental health is a plus

Schedule

• Day shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Evening shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Pay

Starting wages set at $19.50/hr and up depending on years of experience. Monthly attendance bonus available.
