Assisted Living Caregiver / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About the role

Assist in providing high-quality care to residents in an assisted living facility. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, medication management, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and grooming tasks
• Monitor residents' health and report any changes to healthcare providers
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of living areas
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare staff
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance caregiving skills

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Passing a background check and criminal history review

Skills

• Basic computer literacy
• First aid and CPR certification
