Responsibilities
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you'll play an essential role in helping residents live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Supporting residents with mobility, personal care, dressing, and bathing
- Building meaningful relationships while encouraging independence
- Monitoring residents and communicating changes to the nursing team
- Assisting with meals, hydration, and daily routines
- Creating a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel at home
- Working collaboratively with nurses and fellow caregivers to provide exceptional care
Requirements
- Current New Jersey Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- A compassionate, dependable, and positive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, rehabilitation, or home health is welcomed—but we're happy to meet newly certified CNAs as well
- A genuine passion for serving older adults
