About the role
This position will report to the Head Lacrosse Coach and the Director of Athletics. The selected candidates will assist in all aspects of the college's intercollegiate Lacrosse program while holistically developing student-athletes to be leaders.
Responsibilities
- Aid the Head Coach in all aspects of practice and game preparation.
- Mentor student-athletes and monitor their academic progress.
- Evaluate student-athletes both academically and athletically.
- Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations established by NCAA Division III, the Presidents' Athletic Conference, and Thiel College.
- Recruit, retain, and support the graduation of quality student-athletes for Thiel College and the athletic program.
- Aid in the planning and implementation of pre- and post-workout programs.
- Support fundraising initiatives and activities.
- Aid in the planning and implementation of community service projects and events.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Director of Athletics.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

- Candidates must be self-motivated.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Have solid organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- The candidate must also strive for excellence and have pride in everything they do.
Performance Expectations
- Work collaboratively with the head coach in meeting established performance standards that support the mission and sustainability of Thiel College Athletics.
- Achieve assigned recruiting and roster targets.
- Maintain retention benchmarks.
- Foster a positive student-athlete experience.
- Demonstrate competitive progress appropriate to program tenure.
- Engage alumni, parents, community partners, and supporters.
- Contribute to program and departmental fundraising initiatives.
- Support community engagement efforts.

$10,000 stipend
