Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach

About the role

Kutztown University, an NCAA Division II member in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, is seeking a part‑time Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach. The position supports the success of the lacrosse program through coaching, administration, recruitment, compliance, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting, discipline, and management of the lacrosse program.
• Support budget administration, scheduling, and scouting activities.
• Help organize and run summer sports camps.
• Ensure NCAA and PSAC compliance.
• Oversee student‑athlete affairs, academics, equipment management, and training/strength development.
• Promote the program through public‑relations appearances and media‑related activities.
• Participate in and coordinate fundraising initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to perform well in an interview and/or coaching demonstration.
• Three years of successful coaching experience or elite‑level playing experience.
• Cultural competency in working with diverse populations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Collegiate coaching experience and/or collegiate playing experience.
• Ability to recruit within NCAA and PSAC rules.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.
• Commitment to student‑athletes, passion for the game, and ability to coach and motivate.
• Dedication to cultivating diversity within intercollegiate athletics.
