Assistant Wellness Director

Responsibilities

• Maintains and implements nursing policies and procedures that reflect current standards of nursing practice, company, and facility philosophy of care and practices while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Communicates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing staff.
• Makes sure policies and procedures are being done correctly and helps make things better.
• Does resident assessments, suggests what kind of help they need, and tells families about it.
• Ensures people get good care that makes them feel happy and healthy.
• Knows important rules about how to take care of people and uses them.
• Checks on people every day to see if anything is wrong or needs help.
• Listens to people and writes down what they say if something is wrong or they're unhappy.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Has two years of nursing experience in a senior living care setting.
• Has two years of supervising and managing other workers who give care.

Pay

$75,000 - $80,000 per year*
