Assistant Volleyball coach

About the role

The Volleyball coach will support the Oak Ridge Schools mission to provide an educational environment that fosters academic excellence, personal growth, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement volleyball programs for students in grades 9-12.
• Collaborate with other coaches and school staff to ensure a cohesive athletic program.
• Provide individualized coaching and feedback to student athletes.
• Attend and participate in all school functions related to athletics.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in physical education or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of successful coaching experience at the high school level.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Effective team management and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student athletes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$2152.00 - $3530.00 per month

Varies based on game schedules and practices.
