About the Role

Join Our Titan Team as a Coach at Ball-Chatham School District! Ball-Chatham School District is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Assistant Volleyball Coach at GMS for the 2026-2027 season. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on students' athletic growth and development while being part of a dedicated, supportive school community.

Responsibilities

• Support the head coach in planning and implementing volleyball practices and games.
• Work closely with the head coach to develop and implement training programs that enhance student athletes' skills.
• Mentor and guide student athletes, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
• Attend all home and away games, and travel as needed for tournament play.
• Collaborate with other coaches, teachers, and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for student athletes.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Coaching, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience at the high school level.
• Experience working with young athletes and developing their skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Pass a background check/fingerprinting.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations.

Pay

Pay is based upon experience and as established by the Ball-Chatham Education Association Collective Bargaining Agreement Salary Schedule B-3 (Athletics). Schedules B-C-D - Athletic, Extracurricular, and Other Stipends
