This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution within the healthcare space. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Evolve the company’s cybersecurity and technology risk management program and strategy
- Lead comprehensive third-party cybersecurity risk assessments from pre-contract to risk acceptance
- Integrate risk signals across internal and external stakeholders to inform enterprise risk posture
- Oversee cybersecurity processes for M&A onboarding and offboarding regarding cyber risk
- Build partnerships across multiple functions to embed cybersecurity controls into operational decisions
- Advise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on cybersecurity risk matters
- Establish and report on key risk indicators to provide leadership visibility into cybersecurity posture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in information security or cybersecurity risk management, including 5+ years in third-party or M&A risk management
- Experience in designing cybersecurity risk management programs across large enterprises
- Familiarity with cybersecurity domains including identity management, vulnerability management, and data protection
- Hands-on experience with M&A activities from a cybersecurity perspective, including due diligence and integration requirements
- 3+ years in a leadership role managing high-performing teams in security or risk management
- Strong understanding of healthcare and insurance cybersecurity regulations including HIPAA and NIST
- Knowledge of third-party risk management tools and GRC platforms
Pay
$150,000 – $180,000 annually
