Assistant Vice President (AVP), Operations and Network Development

This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains in a healthcare environment. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead physician enterprise growth initiatives including practice acquisitions and network expansion
  • Develop strategic business plans and operational recommendations for growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with physician leaders and administrators to execute cross-functional initiatives
  • Act as a liaison for operational and network development efforts, building strong relationships
  • Oversee planning and integration of new practices and operational initiatives
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in project management and operational planning
  • Collaborate with clinical operations to enhance patient access and practice performance
  • Use performance data to measure outcomes and support decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvement for operational effectiveness and patient experience
  • Prepare executive communications and performance reports to assist leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years healthcare leadership experience in a complex academic medical center or integrated health system
  • Demonstrated success in leading ambulatory operations and physician enterprise initiatives
  • Proven change agent with expertise in data analytics for operational improvement
  • Experience in leading quality and performance improvement initiatives in healthcare settings
  • Knowledge of Epic scheduling and Cadence workflows
  • Exceptional relationship management and executive communication skills

Pay

$224,800 – $281,000 annually

Location: Bronx, NY. US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.
